  Things to do

However you want to spend your time on our beautiful Prince Eward Island, LenRose Cottage is the ideal home base. There are plenty of activities just a stones throw away. Whether it is a day trip filled with activities or an relaxing afternoon drive, there is something close by for everyone.

For Cyclists

Our Confederation Trail was built on abandoned railway beds, and takes you right across the island from tip to tip. It is perfect for cyclists of all levels and abilities. You will enjoy all the different terrains and sceneries as you travel past wetlands, through quaint villages and along sparkling waters. The views are absolutely breathtaking. The PEI National Parks provides a paved biking path from beach to beach for miles.

Of course our beaches

Prince Edward Island offers miles of white sandy beaches. With its warm waters, and impressive sand dunes, it’s little wonder why PEI beaches are a favourite with tourists and locals alike. The beaches are perfect for a refreshing swim, building sand castles, or lying on the sand and watching the clouds go by. They are the perfect setting for long romantic walks and glorious sunsets. PEI is known to have the warmest waters north of the Carolinas. Brackley Beach is the closest beach to the cottage but Stanhope, Dalvay and Cavendish are all just a short drive away. A park pass to all the National Park beaches is included for your use at LenRose Cottage.
